Where can you find giant dancing frog statues, a poker room, showers, food and bio-diesel all under one roof, only at Willie's Place in Carl's Corner, TX. The alternative fuel truck stop and entertainment venue owned by the legendary Willie Nelson will be re-opening on July 1st.
The newly redesigned and renovated Earth Bio-Willie Theater will be the center of attention during the weeklong celebration. Country legends David Allan Coe and Ray Wylie Hubbard will be on hand all week to perform and on July 3rd, Coe and Hubbard will be joined by Merle Haggard, Ray Price and Willie himself for a grand opening show that benefits the Freddy Powers Parkinson's Foundation.
The newly remodeled Willie's Place features two restaurants, one smoking and one non-smoking, a poker room, full trucker amenities, large screen TVs throughout as well as the theater and alternative fuel. There will also be studios on the premises where the popular XM satellite radio show "Willie's Place," will be broadcast and hosted by the Red-Headed Stranger himself.
