Show Dog Records star Toby Keith will be heading out on the Ford Truck-sponsored "Biggest & Baddest Tour" this summer, and he's bringing quite a few friends along for the ride.
Joining TK as a special guest is Columbia/Nashville duo Montgomery Gentry, whose latest single "Back When I Knew It All" is becoming one of their fastest-rising singles to date. Their new album of the same name will be released June 10th. Toby will also include three Show Dog newcomers to open for the tour - Mica Roberts (who also sings backup for Toby, in addition to having released a single of her own, called "Things A Mama Don't Know"), sister trio Carter's Chord, plus the new group Trailer Choir.
Live Nation's Brian O'Connell said: "Toby's 2008 tour will be full of surprises. I can't wait for the fans to see the one-two combo of this year's special guest Montgomery Gentry and a whole night's worth of Carter's Chord, Mica Roberts and Trailer Choir. And of course, Toby's knockout performance. This tour will not be for the weak or timid."
Because the tour is sponsored by Ford Trucks, fans will get a sneak peak at the newest model of the Ford F-150. "This year Ford will be introducing the biggest and baddest F-150 ever. I can't wait to show off this truck and what we have planned for the tour this year," Toby said.
