The new album from the Columbia Records duo Montgomery Gentry, Back When I Knew It All, will hit the streets on June 10th and the lead single off the album and 'title track' is currently rocketing up the charts. It's currently sitting at #12 on the Billboard Country Chart and #11 on the Mediabase chart, making the Country anthem the duo's fastest-rising single to date.
Troy Gentry recently said of the album: "We've been hearing from a lot of fans - they want some more raucous kind of stuff out of us. Some of the in-your-face, hard rock kind of stuff. So we're going to bring in some of the older Montgomery Gentry style back into the music, as far as twin lead guitars and hard-driving kind of sounds that we had in the past."
Montgomery Gentry currently has eleven Top-5 singles, three platinum CDs and two gold discs under their belts and with the release of this new album, there's certainly a lot more to come.
Eddie and Troy launched an extensive nationwide tour on April 19th and will open for Toby Keith on his Ford Trucks-sponsored Biggest & Baddest Tour, as well as headline several of their own dates this summer.
